this month I am participating in an online photo assignment class. Each day I am sent a prompt. That day I will try to focus on that assignment and my interpretation of it. Its really just to keep me using my camera daily as well as a challenge of my creativity.
I didn't quite make it through the entire months, but I did do a few assignments... I had good intentions :)

I took a trip to Boston with Candy who had a doctors appointment there. We stayed overnight at The Liberty Hotel which used to be the Charles Street Jail. Candy was patient enough to allow me to practice my camera settings and take lots of pictures of her. I took some pictures from the back seat of the taxi driving through Boston as well as some photos in the doctors office (something I've always wanted to do). It was an interesting (fast) trip.

This year Keith was chosen to be a part of the MDA's Muscle Team event fundraiser. There was a meet and greet November 15th to kick off this campaign. At that dinner Keith was chosen to go and meet LaDainian Tomlinson because he is Keith's buddy.

Keith was chosen to attend this years muscle team buddy event. These photo's are from the informal meet and greet. In January we will be attending the formal reception which I hear over 600 people will also be attending. This is one of the MDA's big celebrity fundraisers.

1. yes, there are way too many pictures but today was a shoot day for me.
2. yes, I do allow my kids to climb up the slide and encourage this because I believe it builds strength and muscle.
3. the shoes came off because its easier to climb slides barefoot :)

the zoo was packed. The kids ran way too fast. We lost Ginny and Tony. Levi got his legs stuck between the wooden slats. We might have saw a few animals, for sure a zebra, a couple turtles, a capybara and a giraffe. I think lunch and the playground area were the highlights of the day. We probably should have skipped the zoo and just hit the playground.

Kelly needed a pink, purple and gold cake for her birthday. This cakes needed to have flowers, butterflies, littlest pet shop, princesses and a castle on it too. I tried the best I could to meet her demands. She loved it. She had a great birthday, I can't believe that she is three years old already. We are so blessed to have had her.

there is a story behind this cake. Kelly requested (or demanded) a pink, purple and gold cake with littlest pet shop, flowers, butterflies and princesses and she wanted a castle cake. It was quite a demand. I googled all night and came up with what looked like an easy cake... see this link....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fNKh75uxKN4. Looks easy right? Well, you'll see that it didn't go quite as well as this womans cake. In the end, we had a cake with all requested elements. It wasn't quite what I had in mind, but it worked.

when we got a bunny, I had no idea that he would actually play with the kids. He does. He is sort of like a little dog. He actually picks up the tea cups in his teeth and pretends to drink (or tosses the cup aside) tea with Kelly. Kelly thinks this is so funny. They play so nice together.

Angus named him Chip Chip, Kelly added the Hooray. He is four months old, calmer than a kitten and loves to be held.

I won't be bringing my good camera to the beach too much anymore, sand hazard. I only plan on bringing it along when I am really there to take pictures.
...and yes, we do break all the rules at the playground! We climb up the slides and even climb over each other up the slides. We try to walk down the slides, we like to make a train at the bottom and slam person the person on the end. We swing sideways on the swings and even play tag on the equipment running as fast as we can up and down the stairs. We are rebel playground goers. After we are done playing, we go to the water and throw rocks as hard and far as we can.

It's never easy to get a group shot of six kids all looking good at once. Angus is really into posing like a super-hero these days as you will see. We had a nice time together taking pictures and enjoying a nice afternoon in the woods. We hope you enjoy our Christmas card.

We have been going to this road side stand for quite a few years now to pick our pumpkins. It's become an October tradition. (Emily is quite sick in these pictures, she was diagnosed with mono this week)

another quick trip to the farm for fresh veggies. I don't know how I make it through the winter without tomatoes. So, the peppers were still not ready for pickin' and there were no string beans left but plenty of onions and eggplant today. Just as we were finishing up a storm came in so fast, we were just glad to get those buckets of tomatoes. Oh and inside the market I bought the hugest best cantaloupes, they are always better when I buy them from the farm.

I met the Golanec's on an online support group for Friedreich's Ataxia. Their daughter Kaela was diagnosed at the same time Dylan was. The kids really had a good time together. It was nice for Kaela and Keith to spend time together knowing that each other has ataxia. Oh, and Angus and Kyle quickly made good friends too. We had big plans to go to the waterpark but the weather didn't cooperate.

It was finally time to take the camera to the beach for some summer beach pictures. It must have been a good idea as there were two other moms with their cameras and families too. We missed having Dylan with us, Angus was too busy to be bothered and Keith wasn't feeling particularly photogenic but I made up for that with my hammy girls :)

another boat trip today. Half the kids went off on the boat crabbing and left us on the island for a few hours. Jack (my nephew) and his friend showed up in their own boat to visit. We ate, we sunned and we talked. (and I took pictures)

Keith got seven award certificates, we only took pictures of a few. The President's Education Award was a really big deal, he was very proud! Keith also got awards for Safety Patrol, Art Show, Chorus, Math Contest, Young Authors and Flag Salute (on the loud speaker).

I can't believe he is 4 years old already!!!
We had nice day at home. The weather outside wasn't so nice today. The kids took turns blowing bubbles and we just hung out and had fun. Angus got KFC for lunch and picked corn on the cob for dinner. He was so thrilled to eat the corn. Angus also picked his own fruit pie out at Costco, he insisted on it. We made a silly frog and lizard cake together but everyone really loved the fruit pie most of all. We had a little party after dinner with Aunt Mary, Uncle Jeff and a few of the kids. Angus was happy that they came for his special day. We took lots and lots of pictures together today.

A fun Saturday afternoon in Seaside Park at the church. Molly worked all day. She started working the rides then moved to making sno kones, cotton candy and popcorn. Keith got to be the dunkee and Angus the dunker :) Angus had a blast in the blow up house and Kelly loved the petting zoo.

This was the second annual Battle of the Bands (upper shores). They didn't win today, (but won thier previous 6 battles) We all had a great time and Mystical Fudge was fantastic! If you only view one video, make it the 3rd one...I think you'll really enjoy the dancing (?)

finally we made it home. I totally missed the lighting in this house....wait, I totally missed this house period! We are getting close to being done moving (that dreaded pod is still full) We made it home in time to celebrate Molly's birthday. Kelly got to have her very first bathtub bath...and LOVED it. Angus loved having Kelly in the tub too. Angus got a big boy bed, Kelly got a crib, Keith Molly and Dylan all have thier own rooms. All is well.

The first real snow of the year and no school!! Yes, they were excited, I wasn't. They all made a nice snowman and we got to use that snowman kit, finally. After playing in the snow nicely for a while, things turned ugly. Snowballs in faces, lots of crying, normal sibling antics. They all came in and made a cake then went back out for more. Keith made his own snowman out front and Marirose and Molly gave the other snowman a BIG gender change.

Thanksgiving day...Kelly wakes up and perfects" mama"...the first baby to say mama before dada, YAY Kelly! The kids all help out mashing potatoes, Angus eats the entire bowl of black olives before anybody notices. Kelly also eats sweet potatoes for the first time too, and all by herself! Then we go to Aunt Mary's for a visit.

The kids worked so hard to put this show together. There were six matches. The wrestlers were played by Keith and Chris. Make-up artists were Molly and Marirose. Andrew was in charge of powder/smoke effects. Jason was referee. Molly and Marirose were in charge of posters and artwork. There were even raffles between matches, Angus got to be ticket puller! Great job kids!

Ava is 3 weeks old, she is just beautiful and looks so much like her oldest brother Levi. I am wondering if those eyes of hers will be blue just like her brother Miles. I caught a few photos in the light and I do see blue in her eyes. Either color, she is a doll baby and I am thrilled that Gwen got a baby girl :)
